My name is Yve and I've been making aesthetics for fictionkin and otherkin for several years now. I was originally a moderator on another blog called Kin Moods for Cool Dudes, which was pretty popular in its heyday.

After that blog lost steam, I realized that when I know a source well, and when I'm in good mental health and feeling productive, my aesthetics are genuinely better. So I created this blog to do just that --- make aesthetic boards that I genuinely love making, for sources that I enjoy, when I'm in the state of mind to make them. In doing so, I am able to focus on artistry, create custom photo manipulations, include more significant imagery, and more accurately emulate the general vibe of that character.

Currently I am willing do accept requests for aesthetic boards only. Sometimes I will run special events where I will do self-care boards, fashion aesthetics, or Pride flag edits.

Due to the nature of this blog, I only take requests from sources that I am familiar with, and will not take requests that I do not want to do. If I turn down your request, please don't take it personally! To get a general idea of what types of sources I do or do not accept requests from, please check my links. I also would prefer all new followers check my "do not interact" list.

⋆Will Do⋆
As stated on the previous page, this is a completely at-will kin aesthetic blog. I only do requests from sources I enjoy, and will only do them when I am inspired to do so. Here’s the types of requests I will take!

✧ I predominantly take requests for aesthetic boards. I will sometimes do self-care boards, fashion aesthetics, or home decor aesthetics, but these take much longer and I am less willing to do them, generally.
✧ I only take requests from sources I know personally. Please see below to get a feel for what types of media I'm familiar with and enjoy!
✧If you're not sure if I know a source or not, pitch it at me and I will let you know! As long as it isn't on my "won't do" list, I'll respond to you. :)
✧I will take most otherkin and therian requests as well! I'm also willing to take requests from fictives, if they meet my other parameters, of course.
✧I am sometimes willing to do requests regarding shipping/relationships.
✧ I am also okay with doing aesthetics that contain light gore or mild suggestive themes.

⋆ Sources I Know⋆
✧ I play a lot of video games, particularly indie games. I enjoy many well-known, all-time faves like Bioshock, Portal, and Undertale! I also like a lot of obscure games like Hotline Miami and Crypt of the NecroDancer. I'm also very, very into Dragon Age.
✧I'm familiar with most Western cartoons on Cartoon Network right now, as well as things from Disney XD like Wander Over Yonder and Gravity Falls.
✧ I tend to like cute pink things like Sailor Moon, Sanrio, and Kirby.
✧ I also like horror! Go figure! I like things like Five Nights at Freddy's and Outlast. I also watch a fair number of horror movies. (I don't really like zombies, though.)
✧ I pretty much like every single Nintendo series.
✧I only know like five animes. I'm very, very familiar with Death Note, Sailor Moon, Soul Eater, and Madoka Magica; I know enough to get by about Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and Bleach. Other than that, I don't really watch anime and haven't for about four or five years. Manga is kind of out as well.
✧ I have a functional knowledge of superhero media! I'm more familiar with Marvel than DC, but I know both of them well enough to make aesthetics for them.
✧ I don't read a ton of books anymore, but I am pretty familiar with the Wings of Fire novel series.
✧ Musicals are about 50/50. I'm very familiar with Phantom of the Opera and RENT, for example, but don't know anything about Dear Evan Hanson or Be More Chill.
✧ I'm familiar with most popular 90's cartoons. Anything that fell into the category of "Cartoon Cartoons" (ex. Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo) or NickToons (ex. Rugrats, Ah! Real Monsters, Hey, Arnold! ect.), I know it very well.
✧Yes, unfortunately, I do know Homestuck. ;p I will accept Homestuck requests. However, I have not played Hiveswap and am avoiding it at all costs, much to my partner's annoyance.

This list isn't exhaustive and hasn't been updated in a while but you get the idea.
⋆Won't Do⋆
If I'm being entirely honest, most of the things that I won't do are either a given or just because I don't personally know or like the source, and with the latter category, it can be a little bit hit or miss! But here's a few things that I can tell you up-front that I will definitely say no to.

General Rules:
✧I will not do anything from a source I don’t like. (Obviously!)
✧I won’t take requests from most animes. As stated in my "will-do" section, I'm only familiar enough with maybe five or six anime/manga series to do requests from them.
✧I will not do stimboards, simply by virtue of the fact that I literally don’t know how to. I just haven't figured out how to make gifs. Maybe one day!
✧I will not do any aesthetics that allude to romanticizing abusive relationships, incest, pedophilia, or anything else to that effect.
✧I will not do heavy gore or blood, nor will I do heavy NSFW themes.
✧I will not do any factkin requests, nor will I do fictionkin requests for people who are factkin, quite frankly.
✧In the same vein, if you fall into any applicable category on my DNI, I will not do requests for you, and will delete your requests if I catch you.
✧I won’t do overly specific requests. Adding some details of important relationships or things you liked are ok, but requests that are like “I had a crush on these 18 people over the course of my life” or “I had a poly relationship with these four people and here are their orientations” are a little hard for me to work with. I don’t want to invalidate your memories or the importance of your identities and feelings, but please keep requests limited to details that can reasonably be contained in nine images.
✧That said, I do need a little bit of detail. If I need more material, though, I will usually ask for it. However, if I don't get a response when I ask, I won't do the request.

This is the bare minimum for what you should read in order to make a request!
DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS BLOG IF YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
